Question: How soon after purchase do I receive my template?
Answer: A download link will be sent to you immediately after purchase. Please Note: In the case of larger, multiple template packages we require telephone verification prior to delivery – for the buyer’s own security.

Question: What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: Most major credit cards are accepted by PayPal, our online, fully secure merchant.

Question: What software will I need to edit my template?
Answer: Adobe Photoshop CS+ for your graphic image editing and Dreamweaver, Microsoft Expression Web, or another HTML editor of your choice, for editing and uploading your HTML pages.   An alternative HTML editor option is Kompozer – which is a free, open-source HTML editor available for free download online. Just search for “Kompozer download” in the search engine of your choice.

For those choosing to use GIMP (a free, open-source alternative to Photoshop) for graphic editing, please note that while GIMP allows you to switch out image layers, it doesn't offer a method for editing a text layer originally created in Photoshop. The best option therefore is to delete the original text layer and creating a new layer in place of the original.

Question: Is there a return policy?
Answer: Because our templates are the definition of intangible products they are non-refundable – accept in the case of a clear, and very rare, defect with the template itself.   Please note that to work with these templates we recommend the user has a basic knowledge of HTML. We cannot take responsibility for a lack of HTML/CSS knowledge on the part of the customer – and such lack of knowledge does not constitute a refund. We will allow, at our discretion, a one-time exchange for another template in the case where a mistake in purchase was made.

Question: What kind of follow-up support is available after purchase?
Answer: We are available to answer basic questions pertaining to the templates themselves. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for answering basic questions about HTML as we recommend this knowledge be a pre-requisite to purchase.

Question: Is Web Templates Studio available to do custom work?
Answer: We are available for custom work such as creating logos, or incorporating existing logos into PSD files for you to use on your template. Please contact us regarding specific custom design requests.

Question: Will my contact and newsletter forms be functioning?
Answer: These kinds of forms require scripts that are unique to each webhost company. In most cases, in order to enable your contact form you simply need to contact your webhost company to obtain this line of code. Once that’s inserted the contact form will work perfectly well. NOTE: You will also need to establish, via your webhost company user interface, what email address the form information should be directed to.

Question: What knowledge do I need to have to setup my static/html template for the web.
Answer:  Some basic knowledge of HTML is required. You should also have a basic understanding of how cascading style sheets (CSS) work.

Question: What is a PSD file?
Answer: This refers to a layered, Adobe Photoshop file. This is the industry standard for graphic web design and print media work. The great advantage with these kinds of images is that they allow you to access a graphic image one layer at a time – without distorting the other layers of an image. Question: What format will I receive my template in?
Answer: Your template will be emailed to you as a zipped file. There are plenty of free zip software tools available online in the instance that you do not already have the necessary zip software installed on your computer.  Our recommendation is ZipWiz. Question: Do I have permission to use a purchased template to develop a website for a third party client?
Answer: Yes. Our templates are ideal for a website developer without the time, know-how, or resources to design a custom template – or would just prefer this option from time to time.

Question: I ordered a template but haven't received the download information.
Answer: Our template downloads are emailed instantly after purchase. If you have not received your download please check your SPAM and/or junkmail folders as sometimes email programs will automatically place downloads in these folders because they contain URL links. If you are still not able to locate your download, please contact us with a secondary email address.

Question: What browsers are your template designs compatible with?
Answer: Our web templates are checked in and are compatible with the latest versions of the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox/Mozilla , and Opera. For the most part our templates work well with any of the major browsers.

Question: What rights to the product do I have after purchase?
Answer: Once you have purchased one of our templates you have full rights to use it to develop a website. There are no additional fees or ongoing charges. Please note that you cannot re-sell or redistribute these templates; nor can you create more than one website per template purchase.

Question: What is included with my template purchase?
Answer: All of our templates come with HTML files, as well as the relevant, modifiable Photoshop (PSD) files included. Also included are any and all fonts incorporated into the design. In addition, a custom CSS (cascading style sheet) file comes with each template. Also included are all of the photos you see on the homepage and interior pages of our templates. You are free to use these photos, or to replace them with your own as you see fit. Your template download file will also include a basic instructions file to help your work with the template. Most of our templates also come in both pure CSS, and tables-based formats. Once you’ve purchased a template you can simply choose which version you prefer to work with – both versions come with your download file.
